Welcome back to www.permaculturepodcast.org. Sorry for the long lull in content release. The way life has been since I started doing the show has kept my production of this show far from consistent. So if you are a regular listener and have had the patience to wait between shows I thank you! In the spirit of producing shows at an irregular pace I promise to post several shows in the next two weeks. I hope I can add another 8 or so shows that I already have recorded in that time. So if you are a regular listener perhaps you can ration the stock pile of soon to be published shows for the next lull in production. I will be starting work at a new full time position on May 2 and anticipate that the show production will continue at it's irregular pace. Irregular or not I do enjoy creating these shows so you can predict there will be more shows in the future beyond this next spurt of postings.
That said, welcome to Permaculture Podcast Episode 17 Ecoliteracy a Journey at Journey School. I spoke with Michelle Spieker about the process of creating an ecoliteracy program for Journey School an elementary school in Aliso Viejo. Michelle shares with us a story of discovery that began with implementing a garden at their school, which led to broader questions and development of new curriculum! I really enjoyed my talk with Michelle and hope you enjoy listening.
