It's been weeks since I last posted a podcast, but I have been busy and have quite the backlog to show for it.  I hope to do some catching up this week and plan to finish editing and post several interviews.

In this episode I am really excited to welcome Miguel Afonso back to the podcast.  My first guest on permaculture podcast returns to talk about his latest ventures into the world of aquaponics.  Aquaponics seems to be a hot topic these days if you are interested in sustainable food production.  There just seems to be a few loops left to close by creating resiliant forage systems for your aquaculture.  Miguel shares his adventures in designing and maintaing and aquaponic system, in the subtropical region of  southern Florida.  After we chatted about the nuts and bolts of traditional aquaponics systems Miguel shared his thoughts on running experiments to create local forage systems for aquaculture feed stocks.  It was a fun and engaging talk.

There will be a part two to this interview where we strayed from the arranged topic and have a free and rambling discusion related to permaculture, which I am really looking forward to editing and posting!
